Thanks, Pauline. I don't exactly know how to cross-hatch (thus the scribbles) but your advice is so going to be taken into account. I want to get better. Still-lifes are the one thing I can (kinda) draw, so I definitely want to get better.

Still-lifes are probably the best thing to start out on. You practice realism and get the form of different objects.
