random ello ^__^ .... awsome art work u have .. i was wondering if u can give me tip on how to do hair like did on your picture of Akito if u dont mind

Lol I thought it was so annoying to do Akito's hair especially without a tablet... Hmm if you have a tablet it would be easier I guess.

===Random Tips===

Use as many layers as you want. Use fade for the strands of hair. Know where the light is coming from. Make copies of layers so you have back ups, you dont want to do something again. This is so you can experiment safely. Also don't be afraid to search for tutorials! ^-^ good luck!

===I wrote random stuff===

Once you have done the skin and face, and the ear! I always forget to colour in the ear... ^^" Make a new layer, leave it multiply. On this layer you can colour the base colour of the hair. For akito the base colour was dark blue close to black with opacity 100%. After you have shaped the blob of base colour change the layer back to normal.

A very light blue is used but the opacity should be lowered a lot. With this you can add in random highlights using a medium ish brush of 25ish depending on the size of his head.

Then using a small brush second from the smallest put in some hair. (still with a very light blue control the opacity to what suits ur picture) use the smaller brush for finer hair. Continue adding hair by hair. Don't go all over the base colour just where the light is touching etc.. but if you do you can go over it with a soft edged brush with a low opacity to make it darker but keep the details of hair.

Hmm I donno if this will help.. >.< that is basically what I did. Sorry I like wrote heaps... ahh

No problemo! I didn't have time last night, but I'll try and find it today. =3 I had a period a while back where I went nutso downloading manga and doujinshi (mostly yaoi/shounen-ai). 'Twas sad. ^^;;

XD Well, I downloaded it from a site and now need to find that site again. XD But I'll find it for you, I promise. =3 It's hilarious. And, unlike many doujinshi, everyone's in character! ^^ He looks great in a dress, he needs to just accept that. So jah, as soon as I find the link I'll send it to you. ^^

In the doujinshi that I have, Roy uses alchemy to turn Ed's oufit into a maid costume and takes a picture of him in order to repay a bet. And you can imagine what happens next when Ed doesn't take very kindly to that. XD Utterly hilarous. I'll try and find the link to it for ya. =3

I had to. o.O Those pigtails were preordained. There totally should've been an episode with him crossdressing. XD I actually have this doujinshi where he's in a maid oufit, though it's much cooler then the one I randomly made for him. XD

yay awesome i'm almost finished with Sephi!

lol trust me i was the second most clumsiest person on the courst when i played netball. the parents would all bet on who would fall over first-me or my friend. kind of cruel really....nah in netball we would annoy everybody by stalling the game by throwing the ball to each other repeatedly....man that was fun....work sucks but other than that i am waiting for one piece episode 323 to load omg i love that show

Today was the netball grand finals... my team lost -.- we versed this team 3 times and lost to all of those games. At least we're 2nd!! YAY Plus we were forced into A grade when we put down B... so I guess we did pretty well, stll wanted to be 1st though. Yeah stalling would be fun until someone intercepts though. Yeah One Piece is an awesome show! It was a tv this morning but it's in English... >.<

argh the dubs are awful! but 4kids arent doin the dubs anymore its gone over to funimation they are doing the episodes from 144 onwards YAY!!!

I wonder if the voices change dramatically... eh but I wouldn't be that bothered as I would rather read subs.

yeah subs are way better and the japanese voice actors just sound so much better. i think one of the anime's that does actually have good english dubs would be FMA

yeah I've heard people say that. I've heard a little of the FMA dub but i'm just not used to it, I just wonder if it is possible to ever get a better voice than that. I wish tv programs would just air them with subs, soo much convienient... although I wouldn't need the internet anymore :O well for anime...
