![]() I've been drawing for at least 35 years, Professionally speaking, I have a few jobs under my belt. I've done 3 book covers, an online magazine cover, shirts, portraits, tattoos, signs, auto-painting, and tons of murals. None of my work is lent out to anyone for any reason without my permission first. I'm always willing to work out a deal to sell for the right price. Unfortunately, the art jobs I like to do are few and far between. So, to make ends meet, I work full time as a slot Machine Technician for an Atlantic City Casino. I will soon be working a lot of freelance motorcycle airbrushing. My advice to any aspiring artist is, never let the dream die. Go to art school, even if you think you already know everything about art, it's hard to find a full time art job without an education. And I say this only for the fact that most of the people hiring for those jobs, had little talent and went to college, unfortunately that makes them narrow-mindedly think that everyone needs art school. I can't tell you how many jobs I didn't get as an artist, because I didn't have an education. They won't even look at your portfolio. Their loss is also your loss. Good Luck! |
