Right, a bit about ME!

Age: 15
Star Sign (for those who care): Capricorn
Name: Not telling, but you can call me Lena (though you don't really need to)
What I'm good At (Academic-wise): Maths, Science, and Music (plus reading, if that counts)
What I'm Really Not Good At (Again, academically speaking): Languages, Art, P.E. (except dance and gymnastics)
School: None, I'm home-educated and teach myself (Yes, it does rock, no I'm never bored or lonely. Plus i can take as many breaks as i like!). I have an AS in maths and physics, results coming in August some time.
What I'm Good At (In the real world): Climbing, cooking, dancing, singing, writing (i hope), teaching, gymnastics, arguing, sorting out my friend's problems, making jewelery, saying the wrong thing at th wrong time (i.e. when lots of witnesses are present), turning red in front of people when i say the wrong thing (especially my boyfriend's parents), making enemies of bus conductors (it's a natural, almost magic, talent), failing to catch things, getting hit in the face by footballs (another magic talent, i can't seem to get rid of it), getting away with ridiculous/dangerous activities
What I'm Bad At (or that i really hate): Running, being normal, controlling my laughter, playing piano, drawing (though I'm improving, slowly), tidying up, finishing things (e.g. scraping pots of jam out), knowing when to stop, not disturbing people, being inconspicuous, appearing straight (which i am), socks, pickles, putting up with manipulative people, hiding, convincing my parents that I'm not 'up to no good' (which I'm not, usually)
Hobbies: Roller Skating, International Folk Dancing, Gymnastics, Making Jewelery

Right, after asking around a bit, I've decided to hold a one-shot contest (Naruto fics only) Here are the rules/guidelines:

(1) Your entry must have only one chapter (that's why it's called a one-shot, you see?)
(2) Your entry must be based on the Manga/Anime Naruto, though alternate universes and OCs are acceptable.
(3) The entry must be your own work, though joint works are accepted if both authors are given credit
(4) All parings, including yaoi and yuri, are allowed, as is sexual content, but please keep it reasonable, or you won't win
(5) There is no length required, but don't just write a full fic and post it as one chapter. In general, nothing over 10000 words, unless it really needs it. Length isn't going to impress me, I'm interested in writing skill
(6) Reasonable spelling and grammar would be nice, and use of speech-marks/dialogue etc.
(7) Humor is fine, but it's nice if it has a plot as well
(8) The deadline for entries is October 1st
(9) To enter, simply tell me via my profile, and I'll add your name to the list. There is no limit to the number of entrants, but please submit only 2 stories per person at most.

And now for the important bit - the prize! The winner will receive a weeks advertising (from me, around the site), a link to their story in my profile, and a place on my favorites board. 2nd place will receive a link to their one-shot in my profile, and a place in my favorites. 3rd place will receive a link to their story on my profile.
