Hello, My name is Lia (A.K.A Iceangel) I also have another username:LiaStrife where it has better art.

I draw pictures of Final Fantasy (mostly FFVII), Kingdom of hearts and Metal Gear Soild, I also draw manga too,like Angel Sanctuary,Chobits and also draw my own original manga too.

Hey, no prob ^^ There's different ways to damage your opponents life points. You can use spell cards, traps, battles, and sometimes you can attack the player directly if there are no monsters on your opponents side of the field.

1.- The monster with the attack power of 1600 will destroy the monster with only 800 defense, but neither player's life points are affected.

2.- If one monster has the attack power of 1600 and the other monster only has a defense of 1600, then neither monsters are destroyed and no one's life points are affected.

In Duel Monsters, there are different phases (as you may already know ^_^). You can set trap cards on your turn only, either during your Main Phase 1 or your Main Phase 2. Trap cards can be activated on your opponents turn, usually when they call an attack. Some traps are for quick use (like if you want to add some attack points to one of your monsters for the turn) and some are for continual use (such as a trap card that may let you have one of your monsters back from the Graveyard and onto the field). Trap cards can get complicated if you're new to the game, but eventually you'll be able to get it ^_^ When I bought my first pack of YGO cards, I had NO idea of what any card was trying to explain! However, now I can just read over a card and totally get what it's trying to say (sometimes it's easier to understand when you use it in a duel too). If you need anymore advice, you know what to do ^_~
