Okay, hi I'm Katy.
 
  I've been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil and understand its purpose, like many people on this site - probably because when we were very young we were immune to criticism and drew purely for the pleasure of it.
  However many people adopt the thought that if they are above a certain age their drawings must be miniature masterpieces or else it is not acceptable so they cannot do it - I just want to say to all those people, VERY FEW people can pick up a pencil and make you go wow in 5 minutes.
 
I love drawing, I draw for pleasure, it makes me happy. I am open to criticism because I don't often get it from my parents - they still think I am in the stage where I draw a pretty picture and they should say how pretty it is even if it is a cross between Kiera Knightly and a pig on Ecstasy.
 
 
Basically I am here to "step it up a knotch", that is to say create art of higher quality standard.
