I often draw fanart for practice, and try to save all the good stuff for the originals. I sometimes don't have the time or ideas for a good piece, but I end up drawing lots of Sephiroth pieces because I'm part of a Sephiroth fan club on another forum.

However, I do mostly CGs, and occasional sketches, though I do sketches on the computer now in a "graphite" collection.

I don't know what's wrong with it. I tried uploading it again, but it doesn't work. I know there's nothing wrong with the picture because it works at other places like on forums, so it might just be the site. However, I put an alternate link in the description just in case you can't see it.

Okay, I know nothing about Latin (except 'Vene, Vedi, Vici') but does your name mean something along the lines of 'dead angel'? Sorry, languages interest me.

It means "Angel of Death". The "of" is not really included in Latin, but you can tell by the ending of the word.

Yes, do more realism. It should help. You can expand your style after you know what hands, clothing folds, etc look like.

Hey, thanks for the comments, and I appreciated the crits as well. I see the things you pointed out; and I'm working on it! Realism really isn't anything I've dabbled in too much myself yet, so I'm trying to learn how to draw it, slowly. I'm afraid I'm thoroughly stuck in the anime ditch. XD

If you ever get stuck, feel free to ask me for help. I guess I'm not the best person to ask, but if you see something you like, and you want to know how to do that, I might be able to give you a hand.

Realism takes some time getting used to. You just have to notice things about how light falls on objects and what the objects look like at different angles. Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing proportion problems every now and then.
