i'm sorry to hear about what happened D: ...
i have -- er, HAD -- a "friend" like that. she ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS gets the lead in every play she does. i'm extremely thankful she doesn't go to my school (not that we did wizard of oz at my school; and not that she would have gotten it anyway, shes blonde, and my director is like a stickler for looks.).
but you can't give up, ever ever.
before my junior year, all i ever got in a play was the old lady part or chorus.
my first show, chorus;
second, old lady;
third, chorus;
fourth, old lady.
i know, it sounds silly, but i dont think i look old and i dont think i act old.
nevertheless, i was ALWAYS old and on stage for like 2 seconds. i didnt ever get to sing, only in chorus.
but did i give up? no. and gradually i worked my way up. i proved to myself and everyone else that i could do what i want to do for the rest of my life.
so keep going at it. you'll get somewhere. if not now, along the line :].

I was wondering, if you do draw it, if you could draw us at the Yule ball all dressed pretty and being REALLY cute. Also, I was wondering if you were doing requests.... Because I really love the way you draw, and I would be honored if you could do a request for me. More specifically, if you could draw my character and either Draco Malfoy, Edward Elric, or Fai D. Flowright (from Tsubasa Resevoir Chronical by CLAMP), you can choose (basically, whichever is easiest for you to draw, or whatnot...)

If you can take my request, I would be glad to do a return piccy for you, but I don't have access to a scanner, so I have to load everything onto this website either by using a digital camera or by using Paint, so... Yeah. And if you do decide to take my request, tell me, and I will give you all the info as to what my charrie looks like!

AshleySorceress727 - If you want to get the pictures small enough before you actually scan them, I can't do anything about that because I don't know what kind of scanner you have. But I think the easiest way to do it is scan your drawing, and when it's been saved, open it in Paint and go to Image, Stretch/Skew, and change the top two numbers to 50. If that's not small enough, repeat the process. Then when it's as small as you want it, save it as a JPG. Hope that was clear enough. And I hope it helps. :D

Thank you for your comments on my drawings. I really appreciate them. I didn't know where to answer your question on the drawing [about to...], so I'll leave it here. The tones are done with a screen-tone program I bought, which adds a screen-tone filter to Photoshop. (and some tones I bought and scanned) But there are ways to fake tones on Photoshop, using color-halftone filter (under filter/pixelate menu).
