A big hello to all my friends and fans here at FAC. I would like apoligise for not uploading anything for a long while and the reason for this is because I have had a lot of work piled up on me in my college and I just don't have the time any more. It really makes me very sad.

I's so glad that my pictures have recieved such positive comments from everyone and I hope to be drawing more very soon as soon as I have finished a top-secret project.

Pillowman Episode Five is now on air! Click the following link to view it!

http://www.youtube.com/user/NeovenatorStudios

Anyway, now to introduce my characters:

Flash: (Hedgehog,13) My main and 1st character. He posseses electrical powers for his namesake and was created on the 27th of Jaunary and has been here a year so he's 13. Has stared in almost all of my fanfics and is the main star in my latest fanfic "Wild at Heart" The story contains most of his bio, you can check it out there.

Mischief: (Porcupine,14) Mischief's not his real name, but he has refused to let anyone know his name, even me! Mischief used to be a hedgehog if you look at some of my earlier work, but I decided to upgrade him into something looking a bit stronger, even though he does look plain. Mischief's creation day was on the 26th December 2006 and he possesses ground abilities, so he's very much like Knuckles.

Ray: (Bat,12)Ray is a recruit guardian training on Angel Island to help out when necessary. He was also created on 26th of December 2006 and is an upgrade from my old character and brother of Mischief, SMIDSY. Ray is very mysterious, and like Mischeif, his first appearence is in "Wild at Heart". Ray is an incredible fighter and is an excellent "man for the job" at nighttime.

Old characters
If you look at my old work, there are some characters that have "vanished." Here is an explanation of how these guys became extinct.

Mischief the Hedgehog: Has been redesigned as Mischief the porcupine and made older.

SMIDSY the Hedgehog: Has also been redesigned as a completely new animal, Ray the Bat.

Chelsea the fox: A character based on a real life person, her fight for cancer was a worrying one, and she sadly passed away, she wished for her character to be taken off with her.

Who elses work should you look at?

My closest friends on this site are...

Mr Gimp: A great guy who gets better at drawing with every pencil flick. Is into guns and war fanfics and created my favourite OC, Blain.

NextGuardian: A very talented storyteller who you can be sure he will update his fanfics every day, if he hasn't then there's an explanation on his profile. Never one to let down his friends.

Shadows Girlfriend: My compardre on here, she is an amazing storyteller and artist, if you look at her earlier work and see how good at drawing she's become you won't be dissapointed.

A big thank you to you reading this, guests/members. You are welome to check out my page.

Hey!

I know! It's been MONTHS since I drew anything, and I'm really sorry about that but i've been at sixth form doing work for the past six months and I might as well live there to be honest.

I've just passed my driving test now as well! Whey!

It's almost the summer holidays now though so I'll try to start drawing again soon.

Oh! That's great to hear! I'll probably would be drawing even lesser... -_-

Congratulations on your drivers license! I'm still taking lessons but got my final on the 24th of july, so in two weeks. Luckily for the past two lessons, no one ended up on the hood and my instructor didnt jumped out of the car screaming his lungs out, so i still got hope.

...

lol ^^

Lol, I had major errors on every single lesson I did with my driving instructor. And I was actually wetting myself when I was having the test and I've gotta say that if you're prone to nerves, don't worry because you're concentrating so much on your driving when taking the test that those nerves just disappear. And I mean that.

Best of Luck in your test, and don't worry, I'm already working on something to upload on here.

Hehe, thanks! I'm sure the examinator will jump out screaming his lungs out... If i already know i failed the test, i'll make him jump out screaming his lungs out... XP

Oh yeah, and the font i used for that pic is called Bobcat i believe. Not really sure about it, because the all the layers in the photoshop document are merged... But i think it's Bobcat. ^^

So how you been?

Hi Flash! The business challenge thing sounds like fun, best of luck with it^^

As for driving, I can't help there. Although it won't be long^^ I just haven't had the time to take the test. Or the mental prowess left, lol. My last semester in college took quite a bit out of me.

Again, best of luck on both things! ttyl!

*MEGAGASP* You're alive! :D No I'm kidding, ha, good to hear from you again though. And after searching through my school, I've found a good deal of kids who still play with a DS. We had a field trip recently, and it was crazy. Everyone was picto-chatting and playing Mario Kart on the bus. We eventually began to sing the Pokemon theme song, of course from season one of the anime, because it was the best song ever back then :3 We had so much fun, I wish to go back in time to relive it....Damn, dropped some pudding on the keyboard >:[ Oh well, I've said enough, you tell me something random now! I need a permit first, and I can't get that until I'm sixteen, which by then, I'll have forgotten everything :> PillowMan was awesome, loved the bit with the apple and he was all "oh sH*t!" and then died in slow-mo...Good Times :)

:D I'm getting driving lessons too! Well at school, and the marking period's almost over anyway too. I'm kinda happy though, the teacher is a nut, I think he's schizophrenic :o He got mad at us because HE forgot to give us some worksheets, then began yelling that we all threw out the worksheets that were never given out in the first place....And the whole time he was smiling...It's so hard to tell if he was genuinely angry or just fooling around :(

But in other news, You stole my Guitar Hero! I think it's just me and few other females at school that I know who also play this. Now I can include you in the bunch :> I managed to finish Career mode on easy XD And I do well on medium, just can't hit red and blue notes at the same time, my hand doesn't work like that, but I try! My cousin has Rock Band, so we jam out and stuff too, but that guitar is all wonky, it doesn't make the clicky noise when you strum notes. We failed a song because of that :D These games just made me love guitars more, and made me realize I should've been born in the 60's or something with all the wonderful music they had then.

Blah, I made a wall of text :x Now I'll go watch the Pillows instead of doing homework :) It's Good to talk to you again dude!

You'd be surprised. The game's music comes from everywhere. Sega is located in San Fransisco and Japan, but a lot of people work from their homes or private studios.
And, thanks. A lot of people think it's a pipe dream, becuase I'm Japanese, lol.

That's alright, stuff happens. Ttyl.

Feb 13, 2008 12:42 PM by: nextguardian
This sounds familiar Flash. When I started college, I was hell-bent on being a businessman. Then, I had a revived interest in Sega, and I changed my mind entirely. I had gone pretty far to make sure that I would be ready for business (no pun intended) when I got to college. I got there, and I changed my mind, after doing a lot of work. But, when gaming came into the picture, what did I wind up doing? The business end- managment.

My point is that your interests can coincide, or even be useful in something other than what you thought. For example, if I was in your position, (this is me thinking, lol) and I had music skills and an interest in gaming, for example, I would see about producing music for games. No one interest is completly clear cut to one field.

And, it's a good thing that you found out now that you aren't interested in that anymore. If oyu had gotten even farther along, maybe even in a career, and decided "I don't like this", that would have been worse. By figuring this out now, you've actually got MORE options, not less.

And, for the record, I suck at Guitar Hero, unless I use a regular controller, lol.

Also for the record, I don't mind listening to rants. I GIVE enough of them, and if I'm of some help, I'm genuinely happy. So no worries, okay :D

I'd like to know why myself. My friend, before he left, (this was at a gamestore) could discuss where the industry was going, the technology, the games, the whole deal. And this fat wench talked herself out of a 50 dollar sale. I'm horrible with that. Two Sonic games, easily worth the fifty, and she managed to talk me out of them. So, they hired a gem, lol!

All you have to do is put your strengths and talents to work, and things will work out.

It's funny. I went to a store where I had applied today, because a buddy of mine was leaving, and recommended me. Who they hired in my place was a fat, disgusting tramp devoid of any personality. Not to sound nasty in regards to her, but you CAN answer questions without giving a death glare -_-'

Your best bet is to find something that you'll enjoy. Trust me, if you hate your work, everything else suffers. That's what happened to me. I was having a good semester in school, then I quit my job because of some rotten people (And my hours being cut- from 36 a week to 4!). But, my point is, from experience, find something (and somewhere) you're comfortable with, don't take just anything. And don't get frustrated. It's easy to get frustrated, and I', a fine one to talk, but this all from personal experience, unfortunately.

Thank you. lol, you're right. Well, the thing is, the generation that's in their 80's now- there was 16 of them from one mother! That's why there's so much death, it seems.

Ugh, I know what you mean. I just started up with school again. Only one class right now, but it's a doozy. Algebra, mixed with Trigenometry! Yee-freaking-ha, lol! I CAN'T draw. I have time, I have idea, but I have no talent.

And, as for my fics...I don't know if you saw it in my pro, but I'm trying one more fic, and it might wind up being my last. I doubt it, but it's frustrating as hell, seeing these fics that don't have a period in, these 500 word runon sentences getting 900 comments for 20 chapters. -_-'

If it gets really deep, I'd recommend trying a new translation. Same meaning, but without the "Haths" and "thous". Pretty much everything in the Bible, taken in context, can be applicable in real life, so it's never really time wasted.

I appreciate that^^

It's never a bore, offering a friendly ear Flash. We all need one of those now and then. I'm sorry to hear about your teacher. But, let me say, turning to the Bible is a very smart choice. I won't lay claim to being as devout as I once was, but I've never lost my faith. It's a great thing. I've been turning to the Bible lately myself, as I've been abnormally stressed, to the point of being concerned about my health. It helps. And I'm sure something good will come your way.

To quote Splinter of TMNT fame: "If you need a friendly ear, mine is open" :D

Don't let her get in your head, Flash. It's easy to criticize. Believe me when I say that getting a job is difficult, but at the same time don't stress yourself out too much over it. Things have a way of working out. I've been tearing myself to shreds lately, over similar stuff. I want everything to work out. A friend of mine gave me some good advice:

Say you're going to California. You're driving there. You've got a choice: GO right, or go left. Either way, you're going to get there. You make decisions that lead you to your destination. ANd, hey, when you get to California, you might as well go swimming! Why stop there? Swim out to an island...

And so on. The whole point is, to quote Bruce Lee "Sucess is the journey, not the destination."

And, Happy Birthday! lol, man, nobody tells me these things until it's too late!

Don't worry about the long message. I never mind helping if I can.

If you don't regret it, then there's no guilt involved. There are times when you have to put your foot down. It means some feelings get hurt, but-believe me- it's worse to continue under the false pretense that everything is fine and dandy.

I'd give the teacher a little time to cool off. If you've known him a while, and your points are valid, I think things will work out.

The most important thing (and I'm one to talk, I know) is not to stress yourself out over it. Roll with the punches.

I had the exact same problem, in a different setting. The person that "fired" me sent me a nasty email, completly belying what she had talked to me about earlier. I responded with a respectful email. Okay, there WAS a jab in there, but it wasn't a big deal, it was in response to her comment. Eventually, I met her face to face, and she tried to, er, tear me a new one verbally. There are two ways I handled the situation:

Stoicism
and the big one: kindness. The LAST thing she wants is me to be nice to her, she wants me to give her some ammo to get me out of the rink entirely.

If you're stoic, you're unreadable, and, judging based on what you've told me, that might be a good thing. If this is a really emotional situation, it might take the lack of emotions to diffuse it.

Just some thoughts Flash. I hope I've helped somewhat. Thanks again for letting me bounce my problem off you. If anything else comes up, my offer of a "friendly ear" is always open.

As for the firing, it came because I've been being bullied by a friend of hers, to the point where legal action is next. She didn't like that, so she had to get rid of me. That's what it all came down to. Her reasoing was that I wasn't "Mature" enough to handle the adult league. Unfortunalty for her, she impaled herself on her own sword, because I saved every email she sent me, and most of them are either completly nasty or they say stuff like "You're my only responsible official." After she "fired" me, I offered to print the emails out and show them to her, lol. I prob shouldn't have done that, but her thought process was so ludicrious. I talked her around in a cicle, got her to contradict herself, and made her look stupid, all with this stoic expression. So, I had a little fun on my way out, lol.

I'm sorry to hear all that Flash :( I'm not great myself, although things are picking up. But right now, school and work stress is starting to affect my health, I got fired from a job completly unjustly, and I found out my cousin, who was more like a brother to me, is joining the United States Marine Corps as early as this summer.

Wow. Between the two of us, there's enough misery for a book!

Hope things clear up for you soon! If you need to sound off, or vent, or whatever, you know where to find me!

Gosh, haven't talked to you in a while. How has the world been treating you lately? Things are so-so for me, basically doing whatever  it takes to get through the week. No longer going going to London, instead I'll be crossing the pacific to China next fall. I don't know, my mom seemed to like the idea of me going to foreign country where I know just enough of the language so I can ask for food better than me going to country whose language is roughly the same hear. This trip was also some hundred dollars cheaper, so that could be another case :)

It's no problem.

The university atmosphere is pretty cool, actually. No one gives you a second look if you're different, and usually, for classes, you get a list of all the assignments, so you work at your own pace. All in all, the work is hard, but it's honestly a good thing^^ But not for everyone, and there's no uniform age for attendance. So, the work is intense, but the atmospere is laid back.

It is strange. At times, I just let pure emotion take over. Since Ekyt is more or less me, it's not a stretch, and it makes the writing easier for me.

Well, I'm going about it by making industry contacts. If game design is interesting to you, search around the net. There are tons of people online making games. Every little bit of experience helps.

I doubt that's much help. The only other thing I can say for sure is to find a skill that can be applied to a lot of lucrative industries. Take programming for example.

Wonder of wonders, I can actually give you advice here! Play to your strengths. Figure out what you're good at, and then go for it! I liked hockey, and I could sell things, and I'm a hard worker, so the job (Which I quit) working in the pro shop was perfect for me.

My focus is in design video games. Once you learn how to go about doing what you want, I guarantee things will pick up for you.

Well, I'm not sure the teams I ref would agree with you about me being a saint, lol. But such is the life of a ref!

I'm still reffing ice hockey, but I've got three different employers, and two are, honestly, retards. One takes 20% off the top of my paycheck and only gives me two games a month, and the other is a complete dunce who only gives me two games a month, and claims that I'm "undermining her authority"??? What? I know what that means, it's not comprehension, lol. It's how did she get that out of me doing my job?

I had some idiot coach actually grab me the other day. He was almost the receipient of a punch, lol. I don't take kindly to being grabbed violently. I warned him I would suspend him for 30 days if he did it again.

And thanks for asking Flash, it really does help to vent. I really appreciate you playing the sounding board^^

I'm really sorry to hear about this teacher of yours. Good teachers are hard to find too -_-' I found an excellent one. Unfortunately, his class content is incredible boring, though it's not his fault. He tries to make it informative and interesting.

I think my stress is just catching up with me. I got hit with some HUGE politics at work, which I'm hashing out, but I'm near the end of my rope with this job. My school work has suffered as a result. I NEVER get sick, but I've had neck, back, stomach, arm, and shoulder pain consitently, along with colds and stiff joints. Don't let it worry you though, I'll get myself out of this hole, lol.

It's not a burden listening to your problems Flash. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't ask?

Congrats to you and your bf Flash!

I can relate. My fav teacher was actually asked to leave because he was too much of a free thinker. I actually like school for a brief period of time thanks to the way he taught.

As for me...I'm stressed. Work and school, to put it frankly, suck! lol, no big deal, they've ALWAYS sucked, I'm just more stressed due to some health concerns. lol, all par for the course though, Flash.

Glad to hear you're more or less well, though^^

Lol. Do I sound that American? Wow. Creepy. . . Anyway. Yeah. I usually crumple under anxiety on things that aren't morally or ethically important to meet. I'm actually dealing with alot of stress from a situation I'm leading. So School is not high on my want list at the moment. I'm usually a loner and that many people scares me to death. Lol. So yeah. I SORTA Ran for it. Lol. But don't get me wrong. If the situation demands I will stand my ground but I then usually need to be pushed forward by someone. (that's usually NG. Lol) so. Yeah. I'm relieved I'm not the only one as well. Lol. Anyway. I'll live without holiday. I DID last year so I guess I do this year as well.

I'd say taller but I'm like 5 ft 2 lol

lol, good stuff then^^ Everyone's different, trying to conform to one thing or the other just stresses you out. No worries. I don't really stick out so I am used to being forgotten a bit. Lol. Anyway. Life is. . . . Well life. I've had an interesting last few months and I think my anxiety is going to be the death of me. I Think one of the only things keeping me from going looney is NG. Lol. He talks me back to sanity and lets me riddle out my problems on him. Lol. He's a great guy. Anyway. I Think to made the right choice with your college problem. I'm actually kinda running away from my college career too. I came from a school of nineteen students total. Then they thrust me into a place with four thousand students. My anxiety went on overload so I jipped out on school this term. Lol. Yeah. That's me panic and run from anxiety. Lol. Anyway. Other than that lifes not bad Although I had to cancel my holiday because my work wasn't going to let me off. I was planning on spending a week just outside of Dover. I Have a friend that lives there. But now I get to work instead. Oh joy. Lol. Anyway. How are you fairing?

You're concerned for how the others will feel too, and that's a good thing. Pardon me for saying this, but I think you should be a little selfish in this case, and do what's right by YOU, instead of what's right by everyone else.

Don't look at it as letting yourself down. It's a daunting task, and a lot of people get nervous, you're certainly not alone! I have a rough time with college atmosphere, even though I commute from home. It's tackling one comfort zone at a time.

You'll get things figured out Flash, just don't get discouraged, and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything, okay :D

Sep 15, 2007 07:19 PM by: nextguardian
Well, this sounds familiar in a way, let me see if I can help.

Taking on too much at once isn't a good thing. Moving outside your comfort zone is a big thing, and a good decision to make- most of the time. Everyone's tolerance to anxiety and pressure is different, but my personal opinion is to take a step back, get away from everything, find a good place to relax. When you've done that, use that time to sort out your emotions.

I've had the same problem, in a way. I've got what they called "Acute Anxiety Syndrome" Have you heard of "Free-floating anxiety?" It's like that, except it doesn't go away, I'm anxious most of the time. Anytime, anywhere, it can more or less cripple me.

The point I'm making, I guess, is that expanding your comfort zone is a good thing, but in moderation. Take your time with it. Find smaller things that make you anxious and work on those first.

Maybe college in general is the first barrier. Have you considered taking some transferable courses at a college closer to home, maybe even one you could commute to from home? This will give you a chance to get used to the workload/atmosphere of college. Because, truth be told, college is radically different from high school. The way college is, you handle most of the work independently, without teachers breathing down your neck. To some, that's good, to others's, that's bad.

So I guess my advice is to find out what your comfort zone is now. What bothers you, what doesn't? Then, pick accordingly. And, if you decide to go back, don't be ashamed for it. Take your time, don't overload yourself. It's a big jump regularly, not to mention the pressures of being by yourself.

And, friends will come. It'll take time, it's a strange process at the college level, but it WILL happen.

Hope this helps Flash. If there's anything else I can help with, don't hesitate to ask, okay? :D

Hey, how's life for you? Started school again, I'm sure you have too. It's pretty much the same for me, except people are more rude than last year when I was new for some reasons. It's been said that everyone hates the sophomores more than the freshman >.> And there's a boy named Kyle in history class. He's also in my math class. Then the song "Do You Believe in Magic" started playing my head afterword's. This shall be fun year for me :D

Money is usually the first consideration, and if both jobs are equal in other aspect, obviously you'd take the money. But don't compromise your principals/morals/ethics/beliefs, etc.

At least this group was honest with me, and the doors open for me if someone else leaves. Out of principle, I probably would think twice before taking the job.

You're right, I'm still in my rough patch, if you could call it that. It's been about...a year, lol. I had a job lined up, that I was guranteed to get. Six weeks later, after hearing nothing, I went into the place, absolutely furious because I had altered my schedule to fit their's and my family's (No easy task). He tells me to come back in May. May, June, and July came and went. Nothing. He told me that a bunch of his old guys came back and wanted their jobs back. THAT really sucked. So, basically, I can relate.
