I can give you some pointers on what I do in photoshop. I scan in the drawing and then it should be on a layer called 'background' with a padlock next to it. (in the layers window) I double-click the padlock and name the layer 'lineart'. Then I set the layer to 'multiply' in the layers style window. (that drop down menu in the layers window with 'normal' and 'dissolve' and all that.)

After that I create a new layer and put it under the lineart one. Then I do my colouring on this layer. This way the lines don't get touched.

For tones and highlights and all that, I just create another layer and put it above the colour layer. Makes it easier to make changes and all that.

thats pretty cool! i like graffiti too!! ive only done three pieces. two are on plywood and the other one is one paper but i got ripped and it had to get thrown away!!! it was cool too...

yeah, the truth does hurt. i know this one person whoes art was great at first but she kept drawing the same style for EVERYTHING!!!! it really bugged me. and then she blocked me for no apparant reason. then i say she commented on one of my friends prof and said that i was annoying. all i did was leave nice comments on her pics. how was i being annoying? i dont get it... some people... sorry i tottaly trailed off, XD! and im fine i guess. so can ya tell me anything about urself??
