Wow thanks for spending so much time to answer my question! Well, actually, I hadn't gotten very far at all in FF8 (was in first disc, I'm pretty sure) so I meant the first time you meet her. That's why I think the game might get a lot better; b/c I wasn't really very far into it. I really like what I've played of FF9 and I do plan on beating that one, I'm just hoping we don't have any more memory card screw ups. I have 1 & 2 on GBA but even though they're kinda fun, they just don't have the kind of fun in them or something to keep pulling you back into playing it some more when you're bored, y'know? I've never played 3, 5, or 6, in fact I thought those weren't out in the US. (But apparently they are...) I also have 4 on GameBoy but I'm stuck in that right now (and really it's not all that "addicting" either but it's funner than the first ones so I do plan to finish it) FF7 is my favorite game and I've beat it twice (well, technically the second time I never beat the last boss but close enough, right? XP) And FFX is the whole reason that I helped my older brother buy a new PS2 after his old one broke. And honestly, as far as FFX-2 goes, it doesn't look very good but some ppl say it is so I've started on it several times but really I just haven't gotten bored enough yet to give it a fair chance. I wouldn't try FF7 for like 2 years after my bro started trying to get me to but then one morning in the summer I was bored so I was just like "Hey I think I'll play that Final Fantasy game" I just have to be bored to like things. I know it's stupid but I have an easier time sticking to things if I have nothing better to do.

"Oh, and btw, I'm taking a pole (sort of) about what I should do. I also had a mem card screw up on FF8 but I just never started over on that one b/c I wasn't really liking it so far so I didn't want to do all the stuff I'd already done again. But now it's been nearly a year so I'm willing to try to give it a second try. So anyway, where I was in the game I had just met this weird witch lady or something. If I was pretty bored up til that point, do you think I might still like the rest of it? I mean, does it get better or is it just not the game for me?
