Chapter 1 - Background Noise
He rose from the piano bench in a very unusual haphazard manor, then sat back down. He felt something wet and cold roll down his pale cheek; a single raindrop. He stared blankly through the sliding glass door that led into that house. He watched as their lips moved, yet no sound was heard. That's when Demy realized it; all he was was background noise.
