Chapter 1 - War
War
A fight gone too far
Is how to describe war
All those innocent men
Just walking out the door
It starts with a simple fight
Two sides of the same story
Making it stronger and stronger
Until its something gory
The sounds of guns rattle in my head
Keeping me awake
Thinking of all those soldiers
Putting their lives at stake
We all have the power
To end this endless fight
To quickly call a truce
In the dark of night
The trumpets will sound, the bells ring
In perfect harmony
The soldiers will come back
For all of us to see
I know this day will come
That we anticipate
But war still rages on
So we just have to wait

Wow. Awesome. You might as well have posted it since you didn't get to read it in the talent show. And even though I've said this before, it was amazing.

It's always nice to know, and quite ironic to know, that the younger generation have more sense than the elder. Seriously, we should rule the country.
