Chapter 1 - The Nothing I've Become
Warnin'- I don't own Fullmetal Alchemist, FMA, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi, or Hagaren. I own InuYasha! What?! I don't own InuYasha either? Azumanga Daioh? No? You say that Fullmetal Alchemist belongs to Hiromu Arakawa, Inuyasha belongs to Rumiko Takahashi, and Azumanga Daioh belongs to Kiyohiko Azuma?! Feh. They'll never believe you!!
What did we do on that one night
You said it would be fine
I wish I could fix our mistakes
And altar the lost time.
How could we try to find anything
That was worth her soul?
We trespassed in the realm of gods
How didn't we know?
When you brought me back from death
And put my spirit in this cold shell
I don't think that you realized
I was in a living hell.
All those times you tried to save me
I wish that you could understand
I'm not worth all of your pain
So don't pretend I am.
Never then had I thought
Of the future to come.
What if you had lost your life?
What if you were gone?
Never have I blamed you
For this unending fight
But we must undo our mistakes
And make everything right.
Break my blood,
Take my life,
Save me from myself.
Return me my humanity
And rise that I once fell.
(Woo! And there be my first poetry fanfic. Hey! This was kinda fun! I think I should do this with more main FMA characters...well, please review. Also, I own everything about this poem. The lines, verses, phrases, the works. DON'T COPY MY WORK!!! However, the title is lyrics to an Evenascence song so, yeah...)
