Chapter 1 - Tears
Chapter 1 - Tears
I can’t cry the tears I want,
Hate, anger, and spite infinitely persecute.
Effaced emotions linger now and taunt
The side of me that has become so mute.
I hurt on the inside,
The pain becomes too extreme.
The shattered glass is too much to hide.
On my knees, I plead.
My spirit becomes fatigued with each passing day,
I just want to curl up and die.
Enigmatic nightmares enter the fray,
My deceitful smile seals away the lie.
Broken and sprawled on the cold, bloody floor,
Burned and shredded my heart feels.
The desolate black hole within my core,
The war inside is what kills.
