Blood
Attractive. Addicting. A drop of crimson; a ruby gem. Watch it flow down her sweet face. The blood on your hands reflects off the knife. Blood brings both life and death. Poisoned, it may keep you alive, but it’s slowly killing you from the inside out. It boils with rage and freezes with fear. Six quarts of vitality. It carries all the answers but may hide them from the seekers. A picture in itself. Making everybody unique, yet all the same. Your heart bleeds with misery. Your eyes bleed with a bad image. It cleanses and makes a mess at the same time. A salty taste. Hidden deep, yet right on the surface. A thrill to some, disgusting to others, beautiful to me.
