Chapter 1 - Conclusion

I'm searching for an answer
To what I am not sure;
It bears little relevancy.
But still i look
Wanting nothing else
But that elusive solution.
I come to a fork
In the road,
One path leading outward
Forever extending,
The other bounding around
And beginning
Where its ends.
And, as so many before me
I walk around
In a circle,
Looking where I've looked,
Where I've been,
But never where I'm going.
Again and again
I walk this path
Until I can walk
No more.
Weak and weary,
I abandon my search,
And in doing so
Find my answer.
But it is only now
That I realize
That I had chosen
The wrong path
All that time ago.
It is so much
Worse a fate
To find your answer
Than to continue searching
And find everything else.
