Chapter 1 - Friendship
More than a friend,
More than I can say,
You are always there for me.
You laugh with me
Through the joy,
And you weep with me
Through the pain.
Like a cannonball
You break through the wall
That I built around my heart.
You see all my weakness
And yet look only
At my strength.
You hold me back
When I stand on the edge
And for this
I rely on you.
I know you will show me
Care and kindness
When I need it most.
I know you will listen
When my heart cries.
I know you will catch me
From the moment I fall.
Thank you my friend.
