Blog Entry: Preview Week 2015!! - Intro
Welcome to my E3 Preview Week, where around the time of E3, I give you all a little preview of what stories and such I'm planning for the coming year!
First, a reminder: I was hoping to do a Q&A on Friday with pre-submitted questions. I haven't recieved any yet, so help me out if you can think of anything to ask in regard to GeneX or just something I could answer in general. (No, I can't give you directions to the airport; Be reasonable.) If your question is used, I will include your username unless asked to make you anonymous.
With Smash Bros. hype in the air once again with the announcement of a pre-E3 "Smash Bros. Presentation" coming up on Sunday, this inspires me to add my two cents on what I'm hyped for this E3 to the last journal of this week, questions or no questions. (your questions can only make that journal more interesting)
I'll dedicate most of these journals to things I'd LIKE to do in the coming year... I can't say anything for certain at the moment, honestly. That said, there ARE posts coming this year. So, a good intro is a quick recap of what I got to post over the Summer...
Foremost is the conclusion of GeneX - Knuckles the Echidna. I've been going on about it and going on about it for so many years, we all thought I'd never finish it. Some of you STILL think I'm full of crap and have no intention of finishing it. Believe me, it IS finished. I'm posting it. People will read it. The world will move on. Pigs will fly! Well... maybe not that last thing...
Since we're so close to the end, sharing any plot details isn't such a good idea... Let's just say despite everything seeming all hunky-dory during Generations (which takes place later), things don't end all neat and tidy. There is even a death or multiple... But WHO???
I will also be wrapping up the World of GeneX journals over the next month or so. It was concieved as something that could go on indefinitely, and help new readers get familiar with my characters and storylines without having to read all 250+ chapters (maybe even 300+ by now), but I don't think it's really working out that way, so I'm just doing a couple more entries and then leaving it as is, a basic guide to the principal cast, plus a small number of extras.
I stopped drawing really fast, but I might have a couple more pics to post. Apologies in advance to those who hate it. I do have some older pics left for this site, so there's that.
So, that's what's coming this year. No Halloween Special unless I receive a message from God that the world will end if I don't do one. Unlikely. I really need to chill for a bit, you know?
Tomorrow, I'll talk about the directions the GeneX series may possibly go beyond Knuckles the Echidna. As I write this I'm not sure specifically what I'll talk about, but I do have a mountain of plot ideas. I could bring up any of them!
