People, I have to say that I have a genuine hate for Yu-Gi-Oh. I despise it so much I would actually murdur the creator. I mean, I used to like Yu gi oh, but I was like 6 years old. I hate all of them now! I hate the Original, I hate GX, and I hate 5D. Anyone have anything to say about it??? I would love to find another yugioh hater.
Anybody who wants to debate it, fine. But no trollng. I just hate it, and that is no reason to start hating me. And, before you say anything to me, here are some reasons I hate Yu-Gi-Oh (Original, GX, 5D):
Reason One,
Lack of Creativity in Characters:
I have noticed that all of the Male characters (Same with females) have resemblence to eachother: Zane, Atticus, Jayden, ect. And all of their hair, not to be rude to the creator, is Pointy! What is up with that???? Its not in any way fluent like hair should be. Instead, the creator went with a shortcut so it would be easier to draw. Pointy, little spikes that take the place of hair. I'd imagine it would be easy to animate too. Another shortcut for the animation studeo. Plus, all of the eyes (Every single set of them) are the same in design. The only REAL distinction is that there are different colors in their irises. Completely unimaginative and simple.
Reason Two,
Animation:
OMFG! Who here can argue with this???? The animation is so f*cking bad! on ALL of them! Their clothing dosn't move when they walk. I've noticed this Especially with the caped characters. Then, they use one single picture for the total 24 frame minute when they animate someone talking up close. The only thing they do animate for the close ups is their mouth moving. All shortcuts.
Reason Three, Story Line(s):
What is up with the story? It's just a bunch of different situations where they duel. Sure, they have little back stories that give some meaning to the dueling. The whole damn thing revolves around cards and tournaments! WTF?! And they managed to make over 100 episodes of just fighting with cards. What type of entertainment is that??? ANSWER ME THAT!
All in all, I think Yugioh is a epic failure. Not fanwise, because apparently there is a pretty fair fan basis. no. I'm talkin' about story, and depthness. People only like yugioh if they're not able to get any deeper than the surface or maybe a touch underneath. Try a real anime.
I could add more, but that would mean going into more details, which I don't want to do right now.
