Miraculous Ladybug blog. Spoilers are marked, you may proceed.

Watched webiside 1, Chat Noir from Marinette's POV. It's not an actual episode, just a short. I'm still sad about what could have been. Go rewatch that cell shaded trailer and tell me it's not it's pity that Chat's expressions are so limited in the CG. The faces he makes are so much more exaggerated and hilarious in the cell version.

I think I can get used to the CG enough to enjoy the series, though I wish it had been a movie, then the CG would likely be of much better quality.

In terms of the characters, from what I could gather, Chat & Lady work together more often than I thought and have an established partnership as super heroes, despite being unaware of each other's identities. There also seems to be way too many cliche instances of accidental hugs, running into each other, etc. I liked the cell trailer better, with Lady being comically indifferent to Chat while he is comically indifferent to her in civilian form. I though that was more amusing than the hinted back and forth of possibly liking two guys only to conveniently find out they are the same person. This was from Lady's perspective, so it doesn't say much about Adrian's interest or lack there of in Marinette, though clearly, Chat likes her.

I'm still not familiar with their powers, but Lady has a yoyo plus some other power that drains her spirit creature's energy causing her to return to her normal form. Chat had a stick and some destruction power that looks a lot stronger than what I expected, since I thought he would be mainly a speed and agility fighter, since he's a cat. He seems to switch between being agile and being the clumsy comic relief.

Another reason why I liked cell Chat was that he looked more cat-like. CG Chat has a rounder face and a less feline look. I'm still looking forward to seeing the contrast between Chat & Adrian, as he looked rather serious in his civilian form. I wonder if the mischievous spirit that looks like a black Mew has an influence over him?

This isn't much of s spoiler really, since I haven't watched much of the series, but I labeled it anyway, since I know plenty of people who are watching this, though personally I love spoilers. The next few blogs will have lots of delicious spoilers for those who enjoy them like I do, I'll still give a warning (even if I find it silly).
