I've had an awful 2 days. Even if I'm busy, I'm usually at least a little active on Twitter, especially recently with Cold Steel 2. If I go quiet for a full day on Twitter, it's a sure sign that something is wrong. Given my lack of internet, as I'm blogging this in my dark room, I don't know the full story, but apparently there was a fire in a power plant which supplied electricity to several areas, including where I live.
The middle of no where sucks. People have been saying it was all due to lack of maintenance and that it could have been avoided. Given my own past observations, I agree.
I couldn't sleep well last night. I'm used to the soothing hum of the AC, but instead I got noisy crickets that refused to shut up at night then birds in the early morning. All in all, I might have gotten about 3 hours of sleep tops, when on a normal day I would be getting 10.
I went out to get my iPhone activated so I could have Internet on it, but even AT&T had no power and they couldn't do anything. Whenever AT&T gets its power back I'll get my phone activated and I'll keep it active for the next time when the power fails for inexcusable reasons, not if, when.
I've been barely surviving by feeding AA batteries to my PSVita, as if it were an ancient Gameboy. I don't have the adapter to give it the AAs directly, but I can drain the AAs into my USB battery and charge the Vita from there. Unfortunately the process is very slow. I wish I could just use the AAs as a direct power source, but I haven't found the proper equipment for that.

I've managed to get to Act 2 on Cold Steel 2, but obviously wasn't able to post screenshots and comments as I went along like I used to. I did save a few screenshots so they should reach Twitter eventually. I also drained my NN3DS battery. I picked up Soul Silver again while I waited for the Vita to charge. I'm just past the lighthouse.

We got the power back late last night as I plotted to use my PC backup battery to give my hair its usual heat shine. I need a haircut but all the salons were closed yesterday when I needed one most. At least I was able to get some good sleep last night, unlike the awful night before. I'm at work now. I plan to catch up on posting funny out of context Cold Steel 2 screen shots on Twitter tonight when I get home.
