Blog Entry: The Great Troll Banhammer of 2009
Trolls, you know the people the internet community loves to hate. For a very long time FAC has had I mild Tolerance of them in order to keep them at bay and their numbers down. This was a thought out and strategic practice along the "Do not feed the troll" line of thinking, even giving many of them not only second but some up to nearly a dozen chances to redeem them selves and clean up their acts.
However, In this current time FAC has been forced to change tactics. Trolling activity has skyrocketed during the economic slide. I don't know if it's just kids who are pissed about daddy loosing his job and not being able to pay for their school tuition or if unemployment is resulting in too much time on peoples hands, but the resent upsurge of sockpuppetry and general trolling behavior is costing FAC a lot of money.
Our tolerance has been far exceeded and the great banhammer has begun. FAC has issued bans on over 200 and counting sockpuppet and evasion accounts in the last four months and it's only getting worse. Over the last two week FAC's Forum was been bombarded by trolls resulting in the closure of an entire forum. War has been declared against FAC by the internet trolling society. We will defend our selves, No longer will we wait for someone to send an official report to site Administration or the site Abuse Team.
The slightest instance of Troll like behavior will be terminated on sight.

Spamming/flooding
Harassment
Slander
