[Please note that I am not, nor do I consider my self a poet :P I've never written poetry out of my own free will. This was written as kind of a spur of the moment thing during class. Our teacher wanted us to write a Eulogy about anything basically. I felt like putting it on here (since I have nothing better to do at the moment ;>>) I know it's not perfect ;P I know it could be better ^^; But I don't care >[ I'm putting it on here...if you've read this far, than I (finally) present to you the poem/Eulogy (if you can call it that :P).]

"Childhood Lost too Soon"
A vast world to explore
As far as the imagination,
One moment cops and robbers
The next playing house,
All these creative little games
And we could only think of reality,
Though as a child we never knew,
Reality is the hardest game to play
All this time we think of growing up,
Yet once one has reached adulthood,
The yearning of childhood fills our being
The thought of my childhood passing by
Like a speeding car focused on its destination
What happened to five minute time-outs,
That felt like a lifetime
As each minute passed
Bring back the memories
Bring back the excitement
I long for the moments
When reality was merely a thought from the imagination
