The Line of Equestria Power
1(All and mighty Creator) Cosmos
2(First created by Cosmos) The 12 Zodiac signs (as ponies)
3(Race/Species) Alicorns (including Celestia and Luna)
My headcanon is that Cosmos created Alicorns+the Zodiac signs, but the race of Alicorns were eventually almost wiped out because of Discords reign of chaos (Food-loss, dehydration,etc.) The two sisters were eventually left and defeated him, blah blah and Cosmos gave them their powers to raise the sun+moon( and the power to turn others into alicorns) . COsmos then later created more pony-life, but no alicorns because you know, it'd seem unfair if everyone was an alicorn and only celestia+luna had powers.
