Hi there! So there's this big project being done by mechadragon13 and she/he was looking for people to create new characters for Kingdom Hearts Keyblade Wars! So this is the description for my character. Sadly I am still working on the look of the character and keyblade but there's somethings that i am positive on using in the appearence. So, hope you like it! P.S. Please do not copy anything below if you r planning to make your own character for anything fanmade. I'v spent a really long planning this chracters life story, keyblade, appearence, etc. If you wanna make a character for mechadragon13's Kingdom Hearts Keyblade Wars, head over to her blog for details.
Kingdom Hearts: Keyblade Wars - Character
Name: Rin (meaning "Cold" in japanese)
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Region: Originally from "Land of Departure" but now live were the villian(s) are based
Rank: Master
Affilation: Converted to Darkness
Keyblade: Dark Messenger - The keyblade "Dark Messenger" was formaly Rin's mother's keyblade. It was somehow converted, along with Rin, into a keyblade of darkness and was renamed "Dark Messenger" but it is not known what it was called before it went under convertion. Although it took on a whole new look when converted, at heart, it was still the same keyblade of light. It is partly based off the famous "Scythe" belonging to the Grim Reaper and Marluxia's scythe from Kingdom Hearts II but in a keyblade form.
Appearence: Long, stright, orange hair with fring covering her eyes. Eye colour is an orange, yellow colour. Has an "X" shape tatoo on her right cheek and over the tops of her hands although it is not know what they simbolize.
Backstory:
Past: As a child, Rin's mother and father were both keyblade masters but when she was five years old, they were said to have died in action. To honor them and forfill her own dreams of becoming a keyblade master, at the age of 10 she began training, being one of the youngest to take up such a life. At the age of sixteen she finally became a master and was given her mothers keyblade to fight with.
After two years as a keyblade master, she learned the turth of her parents death. She was only being told this now as people thought that if she had been told at the time of there deaths it would have ruined her childhood, but this only let Rin to believe that her whole life up to that point was just a huge lie. Light soon fell into darkness and she turned on everything and everyone that had to do with the light and became a follower of the darkness.
Present: Now as a weapon of the darkness, many things have changed in Rin. Her keyblade, which was once a key of light, has been converted into a messenger of darkness, thus given the name "Dark Messenger." Instead of using magic such as "fire," "thurder," and "blizard" she sololy uses the power of darkness and is also able to open the "Corridoor of Darkness" (If it is still being used in this secris) and fights much more maturly. She has also left her home in the "Land of Departure" and now lives were the main villian(s) of the story are based. (This may be "Hollow Bastion" as in the past, it has a hotspot for the villian(s) bases.)
Furture: As Rin plunges deeper into the darkness, she loses a lot of her memories of her past life and parents which causes her a lot of pain and causes her to take many phases and past out regularly. Those memories are then replaced with memories of sher bullying and torcher from people she grew up with such as friends and family. She is completely mislead though most of the story by these false memories. Also she could be used not only as a "weapon" but as a sort of "puppet" with the main villian(s) telling and convining her to carry out they plans and even be used to draw the ememy closer. She also has a recuring dream of a young boy (this may be Riku as he too was once consumed by the darkness and is also someone she can relate too) who keeps calling out her name but always ends with her falling deep into the dark shadows. I think for an ending she could finally meet Riku but only after fighting with him realizes that it's the boy from her dream. She could regain most (if not all) of the memories with the help of Riku showing her the light but also making her realize that light can't exist without the dark as can't the dark exist without the light.
Strenghts: Good at close range attacks and the rare "in mid-air" type battles. Is great at close and distant dark power blasts and is quiet fast and flexibe.
Weakness: Although Rin is a brillient user of dark magic and her keyblade, any form of attack can sometimes fail her due to passing out taking phases which gives her emeny in battle the rare chance to defeat her.
