Blog Entry: Long time, no see. I'm back (sort of)
Well, as the title says, it's been quite a while since I was last active here. A lot has happened since I was last here, but it looks like I might be back on this site, mostly to support any of my friends who have either joined or rejoined this site to post their art.
So, what have I been up since my last post here? Well, I've been mostly busy working and doing other projects, while working on art on rare occasions. When it comes to art, I have very few places that I post at anymore, as some sites I have since left or am less active on because of how the site(s) have changed, and I've questioned whether or not I will stay on any of these sites.
First, I am done with deviantART. I originally joined that site back in 2010, and then deactivated my original account at the end of 2017. I would eventually rejoin sometime in 2018 under a new account, but would be come less active there between what was going in my personal life, and the fact I would be less active in doing art during that time (along with my displeasure with the changes dA would continue to make, which made that site less enjoyable). I would deactivate my second account in 2022, and this time, it's permanent.
As for Facebook, I did have an art page there, but have since stopped using it, and unpublished it. I am barely active on FB anymore, aside for still having an account there to stay in contact with my friends and as well as my job, but other than that, I don't use FB for art anymore.
Twitter... of X as it is now called (really don't like that name change, and Elon is on something that goes by X when he thought this name change was a good idea). I was posting art there until the name change, and might still post there occasionally, but with all the changes Elon and his cronies keep making there, I don't know how much longer I will remain on Twitter (I refuse to call that site X).
I do still have my art page on Instagram and have posted some of my recent art there. Only downside is, I have to crop my art since IG likes to cut off my drawings when I try to post the full size images. I might still use my IG for previews of new art, but it might not be the only place I will use for drawings that I want to show off in full.
Discord is the only other place I use for art, but only through private servers for friends only. Also, Discord does seem have its problems every now and then, and I always question how long I will stick around there. If I didn't have any friends that I support there, I would probably leave Discord after some crap involving another person having their account hacked because of an error on Discord's end (but I would get blamed for even though I did nothing to get this person hacked).
Finally, there's this site, which I am considering using again for art, but I don't when. I remember when I last posted art here that I would have to resize my art, which could be annoying at times, and of course, having to wait for my art to get approved, which is understandable, even though I prefer not having to wait sometimes.
Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well. I don't know how active I will be here, but I'll try to check in every now and then, and possibly, post some new art here and there.
