Halloween

Halloween is usually a day when we get lots of candy just be ringing on somebody's doorbell with a costume on. But really The ancient Gaels believed that the border between this world and the Otherworld became thin on, allowing spirits to pass through. It is believed that the need to ward off harmful spirits led to the wearing of costumes and masks. Their purpose was to disguise oneself as a harmful spirit and thus avoid harm.
Some people say halloween is the devil's birthday.They are wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!The devil was an angel who wanted to be the ruler of heaven and God kicked him out and sent him to hell.
So thats why people celerbrate halloween.
