Hope everyone has a great, safe time over New Year's Eve!
And most importantly... don't blab to everyone about your goals for next year! Tests done since 1933 show that people who talk about their intentions are less likely to make them happen. Announcing your plans to others satisfies your self-identity just enough that you're -less motivated- to do the hard work needed!
Announcing "I'm gonna lose weight this year!" to everyone so they all pat you on the back in "support" and clink glasses with you will only give you a premature and false sense of accomplishment that will kill your motivation quicker!
Just shut up, and go get your goal! :)
