Tails sat in solitude in the dark room, worrying about Sonic and the others. He was suddenly awakened from his deep thought by a bright flood of light. "Tails! I have good and bad news for you." said Eggman as he stepped through the open door. His heart started racing. Tails suddenly thought, Is the bad news about Sonic? Is it about me? "W-what?" he studdered. "I just got word that Sonic and the others are here to rescue you!" said Eggman, and fear shot through Tails at these words. NO!!! SONIC!!! He couldnt even sit down because the floor was covered in ice. He stood there, trembling in the freezing room. Suddenly, the door opened and Eggman had entered. "How do you like my ice room? Is it...cool?!" he finished chuckling. "Why are you keeping me in here? I will freeze." said Tails. "Oh, you'll see." said Eggman in a dark tone. He walked back out of the room, and the door closed behind him. This was the strangest thing Eggman had ever done. Why would he put me in here? Could he be planning to use it against Sonic? Tails wondered for a while, as the ice coating on the container slowly increased in thickness...
