Hinata Hyuga- Hinata is the first friend Keiko makes in her new home of Konoha. She spends a lot of time at the Hyuga Manor, and helps Hinata train. This is how she knows basic Gentle Fist techniques later on (although she can't it very well). They also make a promise to each other to always protect each other from their families. When Keiko is not allowed a team, she takes out her frustration on Hinata. They never really make up and rarely speak to each other from then on.

Kaori No Kiri- Keiko's second friend in Village Hidden in the leaves. Keiko and Hinata immediatly befriend her. Keiko spends plenty of time with her and Hinata at Hinata's home. Kaori teases Keiko about being so distant, but they really do get along well. Keiko takes her anger at not being allowed a team out on Kaori and the two rarely speak from then on.

Reiko Uchiha- Keiko finds Reiko unconsious and almost burnt to death in the forest while training for the second part of the Chunnin Exams. She saves Reiko's life and they become friends after Reiko heals. Sometimes Keiko thinks Reiko is irritating, but deep down she really cares for the girl. Reiko seems to think of Keiko as her older sister- something Keiko isn't really ready for.
