[EDIT]: This song actually won one of the poetry contests in my school. :D
In essence, I guess it's always the same.
Nothing really changes, no one else to blame
The fire, raging in your soul
You feel there's no where else to go.
Your final resting place in your hole
[:1st Chorus:]
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
What's going on deep down inside?
You losing your mind?
You losing your soul?
Your heart was crushed
Nowhere to go.
And in the end, you think you've won
But God turned his back, and took you as pawn
Your losing it all, even your heart
A disastrous piece of art.

Gun loaded straight to your chest,
Ready to go off
Do you think you'll even be saved?
Or will they say, enough is enough?
This poor old boy, needing help
Couldn't even, save himself
The others, they
Took his pride
Killed it away and picked their sides
Only one could save his soul
When he ran off with nowhere to go

All alone, he has been taken
By his fellowship, forsaken
And his bloody hands were broken
As he stood up, words spoken
"Set me free or let me die?
Left alone, yet should I cry?
Can I face this or be saved?

As he teared, he couldn't take much more
Heaven slowly opened up it's doors.

This boy, now dead inside,
Ran back, to go and hide
Into his house, up his stairs
Alarms ringing, sirens blare
Inside his mind, complex thoughts
Settled down, and called it off.
Enough was enough, he knew what to do
With tears, he forced a smile, right on through
He opened his eyes, light starting to shine
God took his face, and said you're mine
Then with his child, he guarded dear
Nothing more now, to ever fear
His guardian angel, took his hand
And promised, he'd keep safe his soul

Everything's back, to the way it was
Things have changed, always does
This boy, now a man
Took things up, in his own hands
No more running, no more fear
Everything's over, life is dear
To waste it all, on a single gun
