I'm back at uni and me no likey! I still want to be on holiday! I hate having to get up at 8.30am again and doing projects and homework! Waahhhh!
Ok, enough of that. At least I've been promoted to a slightly better flat than the one I was in last year. So from 'A' flat, I've moved up to 'B' flat. Hooray! My new room is literally the mirror opposite of my old one. My bed is on the right instead of the left, my sink is on the left, etc.
I'm going to be cooking a lot more this time round. Before, I had just bought ready-made crap and heated it up in the oven. Won't be doing that a lot now. I've even bought a little fridge of my own to keep food in! Seeing as how the two fridges in the common room are stuffed with drink -_-'
And of course, I'm going to be busy with research projects, creative projects and the like, so none of my usual drawings for a good while. Or at least not as frequently. If I do submit stuff, it'll be project stuff. I'm planning to do a Flash animation on Oscar Wilde's 'The Selfish Giant' for my creative project, so that ought to be fun! I learned a lot of lessons (the hard way) the last time I tried to do a Flash animation, so I almost know what I'm doing THIS time round! At least, I think I do....
I nearly had a heart attack in the early hours of this morning when the fire alarm blared. I grabbed my cardigan, my rain jacket,jumped into a pair of trainers and stumbled out into the hallway. Me and another girl, Sarah, made our way to the fire exit two floors down and outside to the firepoint in the freezing cold night. All the other residents huddled out there as we watched a fire engine glide into view. Apparently the cause of the fire was some twit who decided to fry some eggs in the kitchen and let them burn. AT 3AM!! Gaaawwwd...
