Love Hurts-a poem i wrote sum time ago

Love is like a disease, you never know wehn it will hit,
Although it's usually just good, It takes alot to commit.
Usually all the passion and effection comes along.
But it can be disaster If your heart is not strong
Theres probably only one girl who knows what I been through
She had her heart ripped out, spit on, and stompped on too.
Can't really hate to love, can't really love to hate.
There are just so many feelings being staked upon my plate.
Can you get it all down? Or will you start to cough and choke?
Love is not some type of game. People treat it like a joke.
All these emotions overwhelm you. You can't help but too cry.
Next thing you know, you got a gun and don't know why.
But don't let little things like love go and get yourself hurt
'Cuz the next thing you know, you'll be sleeping in the dirt.
And your sould will be standing over your corpse asking why?
"How could I let me kill myself? How could I let myself die?"
Then you realize that the first person you should love is you.
Then you should love God, Because he'll always love you too.
So don't let another person get you so down.
Because whatevr they may throw at you, comes back arond.
