Okay, I don't think any of you guys are aware since I haven't been on here in a long time, but I have a comic book convention that I go to yearly. Actually, this will be my second year, third time going. That comic book convention is the one and only Adventure Con, supposedly the the biggest con in TN.
Anyway, they normally have it in Knoxville, which is where I went the first two times. However, the 24th and 25th of October, Adventure Con will be hosted in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. I'm not sure if this is the first time it's been hosted there, but it will be my first time going to the Pigeon Forge con. I'm excited!
So far my points of interest include autographs by Jason Mewes and Doug Jones, and the appearance of the Decepticon, Motormaster (in car form, of course). Not to mention all the great comic deals and meeting with friends. :3 In fact, a few of my online friends from DA will be there to meet me for the first time IRL. I hope their cool and not, you know, ax murderers. XD I feel safe and optimistic though. :D
I have some regular buddies including artist Brett Pinson, creator of the comic Boomtown Scabs. ^^
My costume is the same costume every time, for comedy's sake. That costume would be my favourite superhero of all time, Marvel's Forbush-man! It's gotten me quite a bit of attention, including being interviewed by a local Knoxville radio show, and being proclaimed the "first official Forbush-girl" by actual guys from Marvel! :D So naturally I'll be wearing that. XD

If you're in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg TN area around the time, I suggest giving it some consideration. It'll be fun! And then you can stalk me too. XD
