Mood: Confused
OK, so I just saw Avatar (an action-heavy epic that DESERVES the PG-13), and I saw the McDonalds commercial for it before I saw the movie, and after seeing the movie, I thought WHAT THE frack WAS MCDONALDS THINKING? They made the movie look like the Chronicles of Narnia or the Bridge to Terabithia... and kids that looked like they were 8 AND UNDER were in it... and the movie was CLEARLY rated PG-13, for Intense battles, language, among others. McDonald's here's a little message for you-
Happy Meals are for KIDS. In other words, ages 3-12, and the movie is rated PG-13, which mean the movie is intended for people ages 13+.

Heres some more advertising in Happy Meals that shouldn't have been in a Kids Meal-
Star Wars The Clone Wars- Well... Not really, but a lot of kids love Star Wars, and the movie is rated PG and the TV Show is (although Season 2 is kind of scary), but some of the Star Wars universe is kind of PG-13, but I guess the Clone Wars is alright, but what are most GIRLS going to do for entertainment?
Journey to the Center of the Earth- I wouldn't recommend this to some kids...
Batman Returns- Now I've seen that movie and it DESERVES the PG-13, and although some kids might see this movie, most might be scared, because of A LOT of violence and some gore. I heard they stopped the promotion becuase of how dark the movie was.
Pirates of the Caribbean- Yes, I know it's made by Disney, and Disney is meant for kids, but Pirates is rated PG-13 and CLEARLY says the words CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL and DEAD MAN'S CHEST should give you some kind of message...
Yu-Gi-Oh!- Yes, the American dub is made for kids, but IT'S JUST TOO DARK TO BE PROMOTED LIKE THAT.
Avatar- One of the worst ideas for a happy meal so far considering how much VIOLENCE and LANGUAGE the movie has.
