Not only does the story start well and truly give the reader an idea of what being a 7yr. old tomboy-wannabie is like, but it heightens her pain and her thought processes beautifully. For a short story, this speaks incredible depth, and I am impressed. The finale does end rather sadly, but life is not always roses, either. This was astounding and, I must say, it's going to my favorites...which is rare. Nothing gets to my favorites.

Keep it up.

wow, this story is so sad and beautiful! I love the way you did it, with the descriptions and the style... this was so sad! and good, at the same time. Wonderful, I absolutely love this!
