This is really pretty, I love the composition, and the shinidamachuu are awesome. The only thing holding this back from being spectacular is the harshness of the eyes (and to some degree, the hair, though that's passable) compared to the softness of the rest of the image. Even in the anime, Kikyou tends to have smaller (narrower) eyes. But you already know all this, so why am I telling you! The reason I commented at all was because I thought that despite that problem, this stood out on its artistic merits.
