L is one of my favorite characters, although I've never really found the opportunity to draw him much. I thought perhaps I might have drawn him stuffing his face full of sweets, but that didn't happen.
I know the authors intended to make L look unattractive, but I never really thought about that. I'm more interested in his character than his looks though.

Wow, nice to see a more realistic portrayal of L for a change. Most artists here just seem to copy him directly from the manga.Very well done I like how the eyes stand out so much, making him look all intense.

When I first saw this, I thought it a photograph, he looks so alive. I particularly love your use of light and open space. You are a magnificent artist.I wasn't aware that L was designed to be unattractive, if so, the manga/anime artists failed miserably.
