Um, yeah. It's from a book I haven't written yet. I'm very proud of this one because it actually has a BACKGROUND! YAY!
Yes, I believe some explanation is called for.
There was some kind of Evil-Force-Wolflike-thing, and Stormsong, being a hero and therefore have a leeeetle too much ego, went out to defeat it, but he was caught in a trap where he couldn't use his powers, so he had to fight the evil force the traditional way.
Here we see him all beat up and angry-looking, right before he breaks the shield thing or something.
That's what heroes do.
