i saw the play wicked on thursday, and was blown away. the sets, the costumes, the music- it was all wonderful. the acting was superb, and it is obvious that izina mendel deserved the tony. the story itself was so amazingly original, with great references to the wizard of oz movie and several of the oz books. <br />

i was thinking about it all day friday, and drew this picture of elphaba during a free period. then (gasp!) coloured it when i got home. doesn't really look like her- would've gone for a more realistic look if i had had a reference. her hair was mad hard.

wow thank you so much guys! cool to see other wicked fans. i love the music too- i had the soundtrack but my mom stole and it's all she listens to! as for more wicked art... i'd been thinking of drawing a particular costume i loved from the black and white dance scene. it was a polka dot dress and it was awesome.PootPoot on August 27, 2004, 11:27:16 PM

Whoo-hoo! More Wickd fans! Yaay! *Claps* I saw it and loved it so much! I loved all the songs, the stage design, the set...And the Time Clock Dragon above the stage was awesome!<br /><br />
You did an excellent job on Elphie *^_^* Especially since you didn't use a reference. The only thing i can say is that the cheek bones are a bit high, aand the nose is a bit flat...But it's a heck of alot better than I could ever dream of doing *^_^* +Faves...I'd like to see more Wicked fan art from you *^_^*
