The main focous of this picture was the background, something I never really do, and incidentally this is the most complicated background I have ever drawn. Whoot. It took quite a while too...*dies* Anyway, I did this on a pretty big piece of paper and so i had to scan it four times and put it together in photoshop, bleh. The quality is also hurting, it rather irritates me, but all traditional art looks better in real life dosen't it?
Anyway, the character is Katsu, and my poor attempt at complicated poses and semi-realism. Oh well.

OMG! That background is awesome, I love the colors you used. Your character Katsu is so cool and his expression is very appropiate with the backgroung, it seems that a village has been destroyed and he is feeling sorry about it.

Wow. I envy your mad background skillz. XD I LOVE love love the colors, and the depth and realism you gave to this piece is amazing.
I especially like how you put the colors of the sunset throughout the picture. Seems a lot of people forget that colors reflect too. ^_^
