I drew this a while ago, after watching a Sabrina, the Animated Series marathon. My friend Clio helped me color it, 'cause I didn't have anything more advanced than MSPaint, and it came out weird when I tried to use it.

I think Mel looks a little like Suppi-chan (Spinel Sun) from Card Captor Sakura, but it's probably the eyes. I thought a cynical character would be a good foil for a cheerful innocent character, like Calliope (the witch), and I couldn't exactly give such a pessimistic character wide eyes, now could I?

Aww, you draw super cute! ^__^ I'm sure you're going to be great one day! I absolutely love the way you coloured this picture, and... Well, everything about it! <33 (I have a thing for cats xDD;) I like the way you inked it all pointy-like, it kinds of adds to the feel. x3 <3

Thank you so much, everyone! I really didn't expect to get so many reviews so fast. By the way Mel, the cat (also known as Pom-Pom, Manny, and Nega; full name Melpomeneus, the male version of the muse of tragedy) was quite cross with me for not mentioning him in the title, or even the summary. Apparently the keyword spot isn't good enough for him, the little attention hog. Always grousing about something or another...Anyway, I promised him his own picture soon enough, but I'll have to do it either on the computer (with Paintbrush) or draw it and wait till the scanners fixed.

Also, in a shameless bit of self-promotion, please read my fanfic, Bishoujo Reikai Tantei: Chibi no Kou. Don't worry, all of you non-Yuu Yuu Hakusho fans, it starts from the very beginning, so you don't have to worry about knowing anything.

The cat kind of reminds me of the one in "Kiki's Delivery Service"! This is a very cute picture, I like the fram ^-^ Nice style too *favs*
