More virtually color-less art! =D Well, there are shades. But whoop-diggety-dawg, are there shades!
... never let me say that again...
ANYhoo, here is the "milestone piece" that I spoke of in the "update" in my profile (as if anyone read it XD). I've been working on it for three or four days now, and I daresay that I am BLOODY proud of it right now. ^___^v
These are two of my characters: Seth Lloyd Black (the upside-down one) and Sean-Michael Andrew Black (the sizzling ho-... uh-I-mean the other one). Just Seth and Sean to you. :) Yeah, I like giving my characters long names. Sean-Michael Andrew Black, Sean-Michael Andrew Black, Sean-Michael Andrew Black... try typing that three times fast! XD XD (Without using copy and paste... go on, you know you want to. *subliminal messaging*)
"Futago" means "twins" in Japanese. They're twins, get a clue. They are the second set of twins in my original manga "Imperfect" (or the first, since I thought them up first... the other pair of twins is Ayaka and Yuki, from my "A Million Singles" pic). I had never represented these two together in their own pic before, so that's where this idea sprouted up from. Actually, it was indirectly inspired by the latest issue of "Shonen Jump" (we have it delivered... yay, monthly manga!), which I had finished reading last week, and then I was just like "I wanna draw Seth and Sean LAWLZ!!11".
I experimented with a different kind of coloring. It's not exactly cellshaded, and not exactly realistic, but I think it conveys the feeling of 3D-ness better. Or something like that...
Well, it looks nifty, right? Right.
I spent half the time, while I was sketching and inking this, debating with myself and my little brother about the orientation of the pic. I mean, whether to put Seth or Sean upside-down. It looks good both ways, for Pete's sake!!! But finally, I decided to put it this way (the original way, like it was drawn in my sketchbook) because Dad said that Sean's hair would be too confusing seen upside-down. GOOD POINT. *ponders*
Sean. Sean, Sean, Sean. You are sexy without even trying.
Oh, and you too Seth. XD
It's the first time that I draw toes! Sean's sweet little toes! *pinches them* =D

I look back on this pic, and I really hate the way I drew Seth. -_-0 I have so much trouble drawing torsos... gnnnnhhh.... *practices night and day until she faints with exhaustion*

Yeah, I have that problem too. XD What's worse is that I really like giving my characters longish hair (and really, REALLY long in Sean's case), so they all look ostensibly effeminate. (Or something like that...)Only Seth looks actually male. x_X Oh well.

jpg-san:XD Thankies. It was SUCH a pain, getting my brother to let me borrow his DS so I could draw it. He was all like "It's too complicated to draw, take the SP instead." But for Pete's sake, it's just a couple of rectangles!!! The easiest thing to draw in the whole thing!!!

Orelin:Thanks again, first commenteer! =D You're very nice, spreadin' the FAC love! XD XD Yeah, anyway... I probably won't be posting any pages of the real manga on this site, because my mom thinks that some art thief will steal it, so I'll just put up things like this featuring my characters. ^_^ Maybe if I think up a cover idea, I'll put it up too.
