The Worst of Best Friends

...Wow...this is from...a while ago.

Back then, not only was I obsessed with Insitute's song "Bullet-Proof Skin", but I was also learning to draw fire digitally. ^_^ Rather fun process, actually, but more on Rouxie and Thriccy (see where my icon comes from?)

Roux and Thrice fit perfectly well with the first few lines of the song. If they’re illegible, here’s what they are:

Cold to disappear
I’ve missed you more these days
All these tattooed angels have brought me back today

I’m a wasted boy
Empty master plan
Been stuck inside this lonely room again
I get paranoid, see vultures circling
Down comes the final curtain

Until you come into your soul again
We’ll be the worst of best friends…

And of course, it goes on, but the rest of the song doesn’t really fit. If any of you had any idea how long it took to get the text like that….blue on one side, yellow on the other, to match their auras…

Skin tone was rather bothersome here, I hadn’t learned to use the beloved burn tool for it yet (Although, I now that I’m looking, I did for Roux and Thrice’s hair, and some of their armor. Go figure…I must’ve been being timid about it) I do think I caught their feelings rather well…Roux emotional and angry, Thrice cold and brooding. They really are the worst of best friends…such a strange relationship. *shakes head*

But I’ve made this go on long enough!
