![]() I can't help but chuckle as I wonder around the remains of my beginnings. I really, REALLY was that bad. *sighs* Its been two years...two long years since I've messed around on here. And I hope to say that I've improved. I don't really intend to be active on here. But I AM going to put a few pictures up, just to show the contrast of where I was to where I am now. Should (perplexingly) you want to see more, my main gallery is at http://dageneral.deviantart.com Young artists, chin up. Even if someone tells you your work sucks (which I've had happen here) just keep drawing. Practice, practice, practice. You'll only get as good as your efforts. :) -DG You are not authorized to comment here. Your must be registered and logged in to comment KovarRacer on September 15, 2007 12:14:33 PM

*is half asleep* hmm...I haven't been on this site forever, been on deviantart too much...ugh...school starts too early... Yes, photoshop is hard, but you'll love it once you get the hang of it. A tablet is another invaluable purchase. :-P I'd die without mine. Good for you for taking instruction from "da books." Just be careful which ones you choose....I was browsing our local library's selection of "how to draw manga" yesterday....and I about choked on my own spit laughing at the drawings. I will say though..there is one book that I consider my "How-to-Draw Manga". It's by Katy Coope, and dear god did I learn a lot from it. Seems pretty common in libraries too...it doesn't say a whole lot about hands (i've yet to find a good instructional book on hands that I can understand), but I found it particularly helpful with body structure and faces (CHINS! CHINS I TELL YOU! :-P) But...I've made this so long...sorry...so...big bad junior general has to go get ready for school. >.< Botan101 on July 10, 2007 5:49:50 PM
