Krystal sat uncomfortably on the ground, squeezed into an alley, still unused to being the huge, fluffy dragon she now was. Kiro had never looked smaller. She frowned as two men walked by, she couldn't help but envy their ordinary lives, one of them looking into the alley. Krystal froze, as did Kiro, both staring at the man who now stood stock still.<br />
His companion seemed to have noticed that he was staring into the alley, because he came over and looked in.<br />
"What in god's name is that?" He asked rhetorically.<br />
Krystal frowned, hating the fact that, besides her size, she had to hide constantly for fear of prejudice, or being hunted. Kiro stepped forward, lifting up from her huge paw.<br />
"Go away and forget that you saw her." He said angrily, pulling his sword out of its sheathe.<br />
The two men smirked to one another, "We could make millions with this baby." One muttered, and the other guffawed happily.<br />
Krystal glared, "I am not 'a baby'." she said angrily, causing both men to step back, stunned.<br />
Kiro turned around to glare at her, and she shrugged her massive shoulders. He ran a hand through his messy red hair and sighed, only then noticing the men rounding on him. He couldn't do anything as one grabbed his arms.<br />
Krystal glared, "Get off him." She hissed angrily, great nostrils flaring.<br />
"Only if you join us, help us make millions" The other man said, an evil grin on his pale lips.<br />
Krystal grimaced, before an idea came to mind. She stood up, causing two pairs of eyes to widen in fear. She walked forward awkwardly, roughly pushing both men, and Kiro, over with a swipe of a paw. Kiro jumped up quickly, letting out a shocked cry as he was lifted by the spike of her nose and threw onto her head. His eyes widened as she lifted her head, moving him further away from the ground.<br />
Krystal grinned, "Don't worry, just hold tight." She said softly, carefully stepping over the shocked men, and out into the street. Airships seemed to change course as the drivers caught sight of her, and the two men shouted angrily. She grimaced as she felt them grab hold of her tail, but she flicked it causing both to fall down. She spread her great, scaled wings, and jumped, flapping into flight. She rose steadily, smirking as she heard Kiro's surprised yell, and he dug his fingers into her fur.<br />
She laughed with the joy only flight could bring as she propelled herself forward, flapping fast so that Kiro wouldn't feel too much movement. She smirked as he stroked her head, urging her onwards. Her massive shadow shrouded whole buildings in darkness as she flapped onwards, a light smile on her features.<br />

Here's whats to come for a story thats in progress named 'A Dragon's scale' about a girl who finds a dragon scale, but after making a piece of jewellery with it, releases an odd power from within it, and she steadily begins her transformation from girl, to dragon.<br />

lol, This picture took me forever, especially the buildings, and it was bigger, there was another building on the right side :s lol, and they were taller too.<br />
The furry dragon is Krystal, and the messed up person on her head is Kiro. I drew him, quite good actually, with pencil, but I went to ink it, and (because I foolishly tried to do the smallest thing first- making a big drop of ink come out of the stupid pen and mess up his face) he got messed up, completely, so I had to re-do him in ms paint which only seemed to make him worse :s but I needed to put him in there... so... yeah. But I'm fond of everything else, even the oddly shaped yellow circle that was supposed to be the sun. and I know the shadow's wrong in places, and should be a bit more to the left, but thats my favourite part (and my mum and dad's too :D).<br />
Leave a comment please... it took at least three hours :s
