Description
Shuichi stared at his mother's unmoving body; blood pooling around it. "O-Ocasa?" He whispered, tears already streaming down his black-striped cheeks. She remained unmoving.
Shuichi stared; he didn't know what had happened, he had waited for her to walk him home from school, when she didn't show he decided to walk up the road to look for her; maybe she was running a bit late. When he saw a woman lying on the ground, her skin pale, he had approached; curious as to what was wrong. When he was closer he saw her; it was his mother, her ebony hair spread around her like a dark halo, her eyes wide and staring, blood pouring from numerous wounds on her body and face.
He stared, frozen stiff, emerald eyes locked with lifeless grey orbs. "O-Ocasa?" He questioned again, his heart feeling heavy; he knew that she wouldn't answer. "OCASA!" He screamed, sobs racking his body.
He heard someone approaching, but ran. Tears poured down his cheeks, but he continued to run, his speed increasing with each step; one destination in mind.
He was at home faster than he anticipated, he charged through the front door, ignoring his father who ignored him in turn.
"Nii-sama!" He yelled tearfully, running into his older brother's room. He stood at the doorway, panting, tears still running down his cheeks.
Kisuke turned to his younger brother, eyes narrowed. He approached the younger cheetah-neko quickly before his fist slammed into Shuichi's cheek.
Shuichi stood shocked, a red mark forming where the fist had collided. "N-Nii-sama?" He questioned fearfully; his brother had never been particularly affectionate, but this was the first time he'd actually hit him without Shuichi knowing, beforehand, what he had done wrong.
"Baka!" Kisuke shouted, "What are you crying for?"
Shuichi was almost too scared to answer, his brother seemed beyond anger, "O-Ocasa is d-dead." He replied, quietly.
Red eyes narrowed as Kisuke glared at his younger brother, "Why are you telling me this; why do I care if that cat is dead?" He hissed, uncaring, "And why are you crying over it! You're pathetic! Get out!"
Shuichi's eyes widened, "B-But, nii-sama-"
"GET OUT!"
Shuichi did as he was told without question. He was confused... but he would not anger his brother further. He roughly wiped his eyes, glaring at the wall infront of him; he would do whatever it took to live up to his 'nii-sama's' expectations.
