Description

A pen and coloured pencil sketch of two great Fantasy book monsters in battle. I have a story on FanFiction.net by the same name. Note, the Balrog has his eyes closed because he found out about the Basilisk's death glare. Does this remind you of a Japanese monster film?

I should bring to light the Balrog's LACK of eyes, and the fact it being demonic protects it from said deathglare... that and IT IS MADE OF FIRE FIRE NO DIE!

Basilisk,a gigantic lizardor snake which is born from an egg laid by a rooster that has either a petrifying stare or a killing one vs. a Balrog, which is probably a gigantic fire demon. hmm...the basilisk is screwed

The balrog looks like he's having an orgasm. *cough* Um, let's forget about my kinky thougts, shall we??? O__o 
Colouring is kinda rough. On Balrog that is...did you get bored? Basilisk is awfully well done. Yeeees, that's cool. ^^

Even though I'm sure that the Balrog would kick the crap out of the Basilisk.....I like to cheer for the underdog! And I like Basilisks!!!!

The balrog would kill that snake any day, then he would eat it. If a little boy could kill the snake a balrog would kill it in no time. Good pic, the sword is awesome.

very cool! i love both LoTR and HP.. but I think the Balrog would win because it's bigger and has fire and a flaming sword thingy... and the basilisk IS kinda just a big snake. But then again the basilisk has that power that kills things if they look at it... aaahh i dont know!! =]
