Detail of a work in progress.
It's homework for an art class, and the teacher is quite fond of making us do large drawings. This is the first time in my life I've been making things too big to fit on the scanner. So, whenever this big guy's finished, I'll need to be uploading him via photograph.

Very nice! I have to be super careful with ink...as a lefty, I tend to sometimes put pressure on the paper when I shouldn't (whoops!). Looks like your patience paid off :)

Honestly, I was working off of reference I was given by my art teacher, so I'm not sure what he was originally. <.< I could ask my teacher about his source, if that's useful.

Oh gosh. I honestly don't even know how many hours went into that. I've got it finished-ish at this point, although I haven't gotten a decent copy into my computer, but I kind of copped out and went sketchier towards the end because I was running close to deadline.
